Git without the Git. A VS Code extension that wraps version control in plain English — one-click snapshots, GitHub backups, and risk-free experiments in a single sidebar panel. No terminal. No jargon. The safety net every vibe-coder needs.
Kian Golshan
I build tools with AI and software to turn ideas into working systems and explore what's possible.
I work as an Analyst on the Valuation team at Capital Group, valuing private investments. The role requires rigor, precision, and judgment when the numbers do not tell the full story.
I did not come from a technical background. I started using AI tools like Claude, Claude Code, and GitHub and realized the distance between an idea and a working system had narrowed. That changed how I think about solving problems.
I began building. Not to become a software engineer, but because I kept encountering friction in my work and thinking there should be a better way. So I started creating tools. Some are genuinely useful. Others taught me more about process than outcome. All of it compounds.
This site documents that work: the projects, the experiments, and the thinking behind them. I am especially interested in the intersection of AI and financial analysis, and I am building toward roles where those worlds overlap more directly. If that resonates, I am always open to a conversation.

A complete coding novice takes the plunge into Claude Code, battles the terminal, survives GitHub, and ends up building a tool in an hour that used to take hours of manual work.
